PG Cert Information Technology Management

Overview

The PG Cert Information Technology Management is a postgraduate program designed to provide students with the skills required to adapt their business to an increasingly digital world. The program covers IT service management, programming, and cyber security, as well as transferable skills suitable for a range of industries.

Course Structure

The program is made up of the following modules:

• Component 01: Core - Launch into Computing (20 credits)
• Component 02: Compulsory - Security and Risk Management (20 credits)
• Component 03: Compulsory - Advanced Object-Oriented Design and Programming (20 credits)

The program is delivered through a virtual learning environment (VLE) and includes:

Entry Requirements

The program has two entry routes:

• Academic entry route: an undergraduate degree from an approved institution, equivalent to a UK Honours degree, or a relevant professional qualification
• Work experience entry route: at least three years' relevant IT or computer science work experience English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 or equivalent

Fees and Funding

The full tuition fee for the program is Ł4,286 (UK) or Ł4,476 (International). Payment plans and discounts are available, including a 5% discount for full payment upfront and a 10% alumni discount.

Graduation

On successful completion of the program, students will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony at the University of Essex's Colchester campus.
