Program Overview

The Third NEWFOCUS Training School was held at the DSP Centre of Excellence at Bangor University, on 17-18 July 2023. This 2-day training school covered WGs 2, 3, and 4, focusing on short to long-range optical wireless communication (OWC) systems.

Description

The training school was designed for PhD students to explore the latest advancements in OWC systems and innovative digital signal processing (DSP) technologies. Twenty-three students from universities across the UK and Europe were selected to attend, learning about research in OWC systems from world-leading experts.
