The University of Debrecen is delighted to invite students to the Kaplan USMLE Step 1 Prep Course.

Course Details

• Duration of the next offered course: March 2 - April 18, 2026 (plus additional content from weeks 8-14 for University of Debrecen and other institutional partners)
• The course, called STEP 1 PREP - LIVE ONLINE, is entirely in English and taught by highly trained professionals from Kaplan in the USA.
• The course offers scheduled online lectures and the freedom to attend class wherever you like, providing the optimum blend of structure and flexibility.

Course Content

• Interactive Live Online Lectures with Kaplan's top faculty, with an average of 27 years of experience preparing medical students for the boards.
• Content TAs in class to assist with questions and facilitate class interactions with instructors.
• Includes a USMLE Step 1 Qbank, Lecture Notes, and comprehensive On Demand video library.
• The On Demand video library contains over 1,100 videos (230 hours) and 250 video module quizzes (containing over 2,500 quiz questions).
• Diagnostic exam to identify individual strengths and weaknesses.
• 7 volumes of lecture notes in e-book, with easy-to-understand color images and tables.
• 9 discipline assessment exams.
• 2 full-length simulated Step 1 exams.
• Over 3,300 exam-like questions included in the pool of questions and included assessments, written by faculty and reviewed by high scorers.

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee for the course varies based on the student's GPA of the past 2 active semesters:

• GPA of 4.51-5.00: $500
• GPA of 4.01-4.50: $1,675
• GPA of 3.51-4.00: $2,245
• GPA under 3.51: $3,350
