Network and System Security Partial Knowledge Training

Purpose and Brief Introduction

The goal of the 2-month micro-certificate training of the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen is for the participants to acquire up-to-date, immediately applicable knowledge in the field of protecting IT systems.

Presentation of the Training

With the spread of digitalization, the number and complexity of cyber threats is constantly increasing. The purpose of the Network and System Security training is for the participants to gain a comprehensive view of the basic principles and methods of cyber security, to learn to identify and analyze network and system threats, to master prevention and defense techniques, and to become capable of planning, building and operating secure network architectures and server infrastructures.

Mandatory: graduation certificate
Recommended: general basic IT knowledge, basic network knowledge

More information

After successful completion of the training, the students receive a micro-certificate issued by the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen, which authentically certifies the acquired network and system security competencies. Subjects completed during the training can be taken into account during their further education studies based on the decision of the given education institution, so the acquired knowledge is valuable not only in the labor market, but also in the case of further education.
