Course Structure

The course consists of three years of study, with each year comprising 120 credits. The first year provides a thorough understanding of the fundamental subjects that underpin civil engineering and architectural engineering. In the second year, students consolidate their technical knowledge of structural design and analysis, materials, and geotechnics. The third year enhances engineering knowledge in structures, geotechnics, materials, and building physics, with an integrated understanding of creative and technical building design.

Entry Requirements

• A-level: AAB with an A in Mathematics.
• GCSE: English Language grade 4 (C) or higher.
• Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), International Project Qualification (IPQ), and Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate (ASCC) are recognized.
• Alternative qualifications such as Access to HE Diploma, BTEC, Cambridge Pre-U, International Baccalaureate, Irish Leaving Certificate, and Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers are considered.
• International students must meet the English language requirements, typically IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each section.

• International: Ł32,750 (per year)
• Tuition fees for a study abroad or work placement year are reduced.

Study Abroad and Work Placements
