Community Connections Course

The Community Connections Course is a unique program that allows students to gain "Real Canadian" experience. The course includes:

• Opportunities to interact with native speakers
• Volunteer placement with no additional fee
• Field trips to various businesses and volunteer organizations in Kelowna
• Accelerated English skills through class work and volunteer placement
• Classroom learning applied to real-life situations

The course timetable includes:

• General English (30 lessons/week) for 8 weeks
• Community Connection (Level 4+) with bi-weekly field trips and volunteer placement

The English requirement for the Community Connections Course is VanWest College Level 4+. The lesson type is Optimum English (30 lessons per week), and the length of the course is 8 weeks.
