Fees & Funding

The tuition fees for the programs are as follows:

• Scotland: £4,786 (2024/25), £5,006 (2025/26)
• England, Wales & Northern Ireland: £4,786 (2024/25), £5,006 (2025/26)
• Republic of Ireland: same as England, Wales & Northern Ireland
• International: £21,000 (2024/25), £23,100 (2025/26) Additional costs include the cost of binding two copies of the thesis and a CD copy (£25 per thesis), as well as potential visa and immigration costs for international students.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the program, students require a first-class or upper second-class UK Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in a mathematical sciences related subject. English language proficiency is also required, with a minimum academic IELTS score of 6.5.

Application Process

The application process involves submitting a full application, including transcripts, certificates, and proof of English language proficiency. Students are also required to provide two references, one of which must be academic. The application is then passed to potential supervisors for consideration, and if successful, an offer will be made to the student.
