Your Placement Year

Many students will progress to postgraduate study and continue their journey to becoming fully qualified architects. Others will take what they have learned and progress to fulfilling professional roles, such as architectural technician, landscape architect, or project manager.

• Access to HE Diploma: 45 Level 3 credits at Distinction
• Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales: accepted in place of one A level
• BTEC Extended Diploma: DDD
• International Baccalaureate: 36 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 HL subjects
• Scottish Highers and Advanced Highers: accepted, please contact the Admissions team for more information
• T levels: Distinction overall
• GCSE requirements: no specific requirements, but overall GCSE profile will be considered
• Additional requirements: portfolio submission typically required
