Program Structure

Creative Arts Component

• Students complete six common units (72 credit points) and a Creative Arts major (96 credit points) from one of the following disciplines:
  • Animation
  • Visual Arts
  • Creative Writing
  • Drama
  • Film and Screen
  • Music
• One Creative Arts elective unit (12 credit points) is also chosen.

Law Component

• Twenty core units (240 credit points) are required.
• Two Advanced law electives (24 credit points) are included.
• A law minor (48 credit points) and one unit (12 credit points) of law or general electives, or two law electives (24 credit points) and three law or general electives (36 credit points), are part of the program.

QUT You Component

• 24 credit points of QUT You units are completed as part of the program.

Admission Requirements

• ATAR/selection rank threshold: 84.00
• Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)
• Offer guarantee: An ATAR or selection rank of 87.00 or higher guarantees an offer for this course.
• VET guarantee: Completion of an AQF diploma or higher guarantees an offer.

English Language Requirements

• IELTS Academic: Overall 6.5, with no band less than 6.
• Cambridge English: Overall 176, with no band less than 169.
• PTE Academic: Overall 58, with no band less than 50.
• TOEFL iBT: Overall 79, with minimum scores of 16 in reading, 16 in listening, 21 in writing, and 18 in speaking.

• 2026 fees: CSP $14,800 per year full-time, and $42,200 per year full-time for international students.
