General English Program (15 weeks)

The General English program at QUT College is designed to improve English language skills for international students.

Course Details

What to Expect

• Develop proficiency in English language skills through presentation and practice of relevant language content and skills
• Interactive, task-based, student-centred activities in both simulated and authentic contexts

Sessions

• Each level consists of two five-week sessions

Schedule

• 25 hours per week in class
• 20 hours face-to-face with class teacher
• 5 hours studying at own pace with teacher supervision in Guided Independent Learning (GIL)
